How ordering through the dealer portal works

Ocean Cabinetry ·

Approved Ocean dealers quote and order online. Here is the whole path, from the first application to a delivered order.

1. Apply for an account

The application takes a few minutes. You tell us about your business: company name, contact, address, website, business type (kitchen and bath showroom, contractor or remodeler, builder or developer, designer or architect), your resale certificate number and roughly how many kitchens or closets you sell a month.

We review every application ourselves. Once it is approved, you receive a link to set your password and log in.

What to have ready

  • Your resale certificate number.
  • The business address where you want deliveries to go by default.
  • A rough idea of your monthly volume of kitchens or closets.

2. Build a quote

A quote is a list of cabinets, one line per cabinet. For each one you choose the cabinet type and size, the door color, the drawer layout and the hardware, and the price shows as you build.

  • Width, height and depth can be changed cabinet by cabinet.
  • Options such as push-to-open, lift-up wall doors, glass doors and routed LED grooves are chosen per cabinet.
  • HIGOLD pull-outs, baskets and closet accessories are chosen per cabinet, and the 3D preview shows how they sit.
  • Closets are laid out in the closet designer, module by module.

3. Share it with your client

Each quote can be saved, copied and changed as the client decides. The 3D preview helps a client see the finish and layout before ordering.

4. Place the order

When the client says yes, turn the quote into an order. Production starts once the deposit or payment is confirmed.

Fill in the PO, the hinge sides and the requested delivery date first: an order without them cannot go to production.

Most orders are made in 5–7 business days from then. The estimated ship date shows on every order, so you can give your client a date.

5. Track it and talk to us

Order status, documents and invoices are in the portal, and messages with our office stay with the order they are about, so nobody has to search an inbox for the answer.

6. Delivery or pickup

We deliver within 100 miles of Vineland, NJ, to your showroom or straight to your customer's jobsite (farther away, contact us), or you can pick up at our Vineland factory. Cabinets arrive fully assembled.

7. After delivery

  • Check the delivery against the packing slip and report any damage or shortage within 48 hours, with a photo, through the order.
  • Keep the packing slip with the job until every cabinet is installed and checked, so a missing or damaged part can be matched to its line on the order.
  • Warranty questions go through the dealer; the warranty page has the full terms.

Tips for a clean first order

  • Measure every wall twice and mark windows, doors, outlets and plumbing on the plan before you start the quote.
  • Check appliance sizes against the cabinets they go next to or inside, using the appliance specification sheets.
  • Decide where fillers go at walls and corners, so doors and drawers can open past handles and trim.
  • Confirm the door color with the client on a physical sample; colors on screen are a guide only.
  • Read the quote back line by line with the client before you turn it into an order; it is easier to change a quote than an order.
  • Use the 3D preview with the client: it is the quickest way to catch a door hinged on the wrong side.

Why dealers like ordering this way

  • No waiting for a factory quote: the price is there as you build.
  • Fewer mistakes: every cabinet's size, finish and hardware is on one line, and the 3D preview shows it.
  • One place for the order, the date, the documents and the conversation.
