Buying frameless cabinets at wholesale is less about a price list and more about setting up the account, the paperwork and the habits that make every order go through cleanly. Here is what a dealer or contractor needs to get started with us.

Who buys wholesale

Wholesale cabinet accounts are for businesses that sell or install cabinets for their clients: kitchen and bath showrooms, cabinet shops, contractors and remodelers, builders and developers, and designers and architects. The account lets you price and order cabinets for your own projects and resell them as part of your work.

Most wholesale manufacturers, ourselves included, ask for a few things before opening an account, because the account comes with trade pricing and the business is responsible for the order.

Working wholesale also changes who does what. As the dealer or contractor, you own the relationship with your client: you take the measurements on site, help choose the layout and finish, and confirm the order. We build every cabinet to the dimensions on that confirmed order and ship it assembled. Clear roles keep orders accurate and keep your client talking to one person.

What you need before you apply

Have these ready and the application takes a few minutes:

  • Your business details: company name, a contact person, phone, email and the business address.
  • Your business type: showroom, contractor or remodeler, builder or developer, designer or architect.
  • A resale certificate number. Wholesale purchases for resale are normally made tax-exempt with a resale certificate; ask your accountant about the rules in your state.
  • A rough idea of volume: about how many kitchens or closets you sell a month. It helps us understand your business; there is no wrong answer.

How the account is opened

  1. Apply online at order.oceancabinets.com with the details above.
  2. We review the application. Every application is reviewed by our team.
  3. Set your password. Once approved, you receive an email with a link to set your password. The link is valid for seven days, so use it soon after it arrives.

After that you can log in and start quoting.

How quoting and ordering work

Wholesale ordering with us happens in the dealer portal rather than by email and phone:

  • Build a quote cabinet by cabinet. Choose the cabinet, its width, height and depth, the door color, the drawer layout and options, and the price shows as you build.
  • Change sizes per cabinet. Standard widths run from 9" to 36" in 3" steps, and width, height and depth can each be changed on any cabinet. Every cabinet is built to the dimensions on the confirmed order, so check the quote against your site measurements before ordering.
  • Use the 3D preview with your client to confirm finishes and layout.
  • Turn the quote into an order when the client is ready. Production starts once the deposit or payment is confirmed, and most orders are made in 5–7 business days. The estimated ship date shows on every order.
  • Track it in the portal, and keep messages with our office on the order they are about.

Delivery and receiving

We deliver within 100 miles of Vineland, NJ, to your showroom or straight to the jobsite, or you can pick up at our factory. If your project is farther out, contact us.

Cabinets ship fully assembled, with a full 3/4" (18 mm) back that screws straight to the wall. Check each delivery against the packing slip and report any damage or shortage within 48 hours, with a photo, through the order in the portal, so the part can be sent.

Habits that keep wholesale orders clean

  • Confirm the door finish with your client on a physical sample; colors on screen are a guide.
  • Read the quote back line by line before you turn it into an order. It is easier to change a quote than an order.
  • Plan fillers where runs meet walls, so doors and drawers clear trim and handles.
  • Check appliance specification sheets against the cabinets beside or around them.
  • Give your client the estimated ship date from the portal, not a guess.
  • Keep each client's job on its own quote, named so you can find it later.
  • Send the deposit or payment as soon as the client confirms; production starts when it is confirmed.

Your first order

Start with a job you know well, such as a straightforward kitchen or a set of vanities, so you can learn the portal on familiar ground. Build the quote, look at it in the 3D preview with your client, and read it back line by line before you order. If anything on the quote is unclear, message our office from the portal; the answer stays with the order, where your team can find it. After the first delivery, note what you would do differently next time: where a filler helped, which options your clients liked, how long the install took. Those notes make every order after it faster.
